Getting Started on the Farm

Welcome to My Farming and Gardening World

Hi everyone, we are Meagan and Daniel, this is my first time writing a blog of any kind and I am a bit stressed out about it, but I want to make this work and going on a learning experience with everyone that reads this.

I have lived on this farm since I turned five back in the late 1900's, like real late 1900's. This farm has been in my family since the 1950' when my grandfather bought it. Ever since I can remember I have not really been that active in the farm growing up (to my detriment) besides building and repairing fencing, loading cows for the sale, and chopping wood for winter, since that was our source of heat. That all change when we had our children and my world got flipped upside down. Seeing their eyes light up with the animal and the joy they exude in to the world, made me want to get back into farming and gardening. So I have re-started this journey to become a farmer and started this blog to maybe help or give someone else ideas and maybe get some help from the readers.
